I just wanted to share an idea for a very simple but beautiful fall planter. I have a large pot in my front yard that I fill each spring for the summer. This year I went for wild flowers, and it was looking pretty rough by September. I grabbed a small white mum, two types of ornamental cabbage, some small white pumpkins, and a medium white pumpkin, and in about ten minutes, had a fresh autumn planter.
I’m not an expert gardener by any means, but it’s fun to update planters with the seasons. Your local nursery/greenhouse is a great place to go for seasonal refresh plants, and they’re usually willing to help with design suggestions if you bring in a photo!
